  • You may be surprised to learn that most chiropractors practice differently based on their certifications and studies. We understand that the combination of joint and muscle manipulation, rehabilitation, and therapeutic exercises offers our patients the best recovery.

  • Our office does accept insurance. Most insurance offers some sort of coverage for our services. It is best to give our office a call at (770) 252-3661 to verify your specific coverage over the phone. We offer cash payment plans if needed.

  • During your first office visit, you'll start with a guided office tour. Next, you'll meet with one of our doctors for a detailed consultation and health history review to better understand what brought you into the office and how chiropractic can help with any chemical, physical, or emotional stressors affecting your nervous system. We’ll then perform neurological scans, foot scans, conduct a range of motion evaluation, and take standard digital X-rays to get a clear picture of your spine’s health, allowing us to create the most effective prescription of care for you.

  • Your second visit is all about understanding your results and beginning your personalized care. We’ll review your scans and X-rays to pinpoint areas of stress and ensure precise, effective adjustments. Next, we’ll discuss your specific prescription of care, taking the time to understand your unique needs and explain your treatment plan so you feel confident moving forward. Finally, you’ll receive your first adjustment, with your doctor guiding you through the process to ensure comfort and clarity.

  • Here at Healthy Life Chiropractic, Spinal X-rays are required before manual chiropractic adjustments to assess alignment, detect abnormalities, and ensure safe, effective care. They help identify issues like misalignments, degenerative changes, or fractures that could impact treatment. X-rays are especially important for patients with trauma history, chronic conditions, or structural concerns. Modern digital X-rays are safe, using minimal radiation, and provide essential diagnostic information for precise and effective chiropractic care.

  • Chiropractic care is like building a house - certain things have to happen in a particular order in order for everything to stand strong and work correctly. When building a house, if you tried to put up your walls before you had a solid foundation, your walls would be weak and eventually collapse. If you tried to put on your roof before the walls were ready, you would run into the same problem. The same is true for your body. Your body has to go through a particular plan of care in order to repair itself correctly and fully. There are three general phases of chiropractic care:

    • Phase 1 Relief Care: If you are in pain when you come into our office, the first objective is to help you feel better. Depending on the severity of your problem, it is typical to need care 2-3 times per week for 4-12 weeks.

    • Phase 2 Corrective & Restorative Care: During the corrective care phase, muscles and other tissues are allowed to heal more completely, thereby helping prevent injury. It is typical to need care 4-8 times per month for 6-24 months, depending on your overall health and the severity of your problem.

    • Phase 3 Wellness Care: Once your body has fully healed, it is important to come in for periodic adjustments to avoid problems in the future. Usually, this only requires a quick visit to the chiropractor 1-4 times per month, based on your lifestyle and goals.
